Troy Marcus—recording artist, songwriter, bassist, and vocalist—is the leader of OverDrive, the Delaware Valley’s hottest, new, party band—and also performs as a MC/Host for Celebrity DJs at Galas, Weddings and Mitzvahs.

Troy Marcus and OverDrive is an exceptionally versatile, cover band that features a sizzling rhythm section, four powerhouse vocalists, and optional horn section.  Anyone who has seen them perform will tell you—OverDrive sends out a wave of contagious, non-stop party energy that pulls people out of their seats and keeps them on the dance floor. Whether performing classic Motown, Club, Funk, Soul, Oldies, or today’s hottest grooves, the band always ROCKS!

When not jamming with OverDrive at clubs, weddings, and mitzvahs, Troy is found on stage with his original band, Montoj, whose innovative fusion of rock, funk, and a little bit of jazz, has earned a following of dedicated fans. Their self-entitled album released independently in 2007, featured “Tell Me My name” and “Songs for Seasons” heard on 88.5 (WXPN) and Jaxon’s Local Shots at 93.3 (WMMR).

Troy is a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, where he was a member of the Colonial Players Association, the District Choir, and recipient of the prestigious Musicianship Award.  Prior to joining ITM, he was a performance instructor for Paul Green School of Rock and  bassist/vocalist for regional cover bands and wedding bands throughout the tri-state area.
