We realize that chairing or participating on a selection committee for a gala event or corporate party, whether for the first, or the 10th time, is always challenging, time-consuming, and often stressful. There are many decisions that have to be made. Once you’ve set the date and booked the venue, it’s time to make what many people consider the most important and difficult decision of all: the selection of the “right” band. So much hinges on the success of your Gala Event. To be candid: if it’s not an amazing party, fund-raising efforts and/or even next year’s attendance may diminish. And so the success or failure of the event is always the responsibility of the committee.
 
OUR EXPERIENCE
Since 1990, we’ve performed at 150+ Gala Events including Black-Tie Hospital Fund-Raisers, Award Banquets, President’s Balls, Corporate Celebrations, and Blue-Jeans Charity Events …. We’ve entertained at every kind of Gala imaginable, from High-Tech Extravaganzas to Traditional Costume Balls.  Performed for entertainment celebrities, business icons, sports franchise owners, and visiting dignitaries, and done so in airports, museums, boats, train stations, and tents, from theMain Line to the Kennedy Center.
 
Our Gala Event Bands are known for their sizzling and sophisticated performance of Motown & Dance Club; their Big Band and Sinatra Medleys are nothing short of fabulous, while their Oldies Medleys win consistent rave reviews. Whether it’s Jazz, Big Band, Funk & Soul, Rock, Ethnic, Swing, R&B, 70s, Salsa … or today’s newest dance grooves, you can count on ITM Gala Event Bands for classy, stylish, high-energy entertainment that gets everybody up and dancing.
 
OUR COMMITMENT
In New Yorkand Philadelphia there are many fine dance bands and entertainment companies who play at Gala Events, at ITM we dedicate all our talent, energy, and experience to being the “Best of the Best.”  Our Gala Event Bands perform for the most discriminating clients and accept only a limited number of engagements each year at the most prestigious hotels, country clubs, casinos, and other venues.
 
Our Gala Event Bands varies in size from eight to thirteen persons and perform each song as it was recorded by the original artist. Our bands feature exceptional lead vocalists/performers backed by a dynamic rhythm section of keyboards, drum, bass, and guitar, and a vibrant horn section which may include saxophone, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, and flute; upon request we can include a string section or integrate a special attraction into the evening’s celebration.
 
IMPORTANT ELEMENTS
Although our Gala Event Bands feature some of the most talented singer/performers and musicians you will find anywhere, we don’t believe that talent is enough to make a great event.  After playing at 150+ Gala Events we have learned that it’s just not enough to show up and play flawless performances of your favorite requests.  There are many other important elements:  how to conduct introductions, coordinating the event with the caterer and photographer, reading the crowd, playing the right song at the right time, and making certain that the music is always at the appropriate volume, especially while you are dining.

We promise that all the different aspects of your special event will be coordinated with sensitivity and style in order to create a truly magnificent event for you and your guests. From beginning to end, every aspect of your event is customized.  Perhaps most importantly, there is neither a limit on the number of special songs you may request us to learn, nor on the style of music we can perform.
