HISTORY
In the mid-1990s, when ITM first introduced the Band/DJ Combo concept to our Mitzvah clients who wanted the best of both live and recorded music, we realized we had to develop and train DJs and Dancers who understood our special way of running and staging Mitzvah Events designed to include all age groups at the party—the “kids,” their parents, their friends, and older relatives—and create Mitzvah Events where everyone has an incredible time. To fulfill this need we formed CELEBRITY DJs!
Today, though some of our CELEBRITY DJs still play a key role in ITM Band/DJ Combos, they are more often found performing as a Host/MC at many of the hottest Weddings, Mitzvahs,Special Events, and Clubs, where recorded music is used exclusively.
MITZVAHS
To be honest – creating an amazing Mitzvah event is a complex and difficult process, and that’s why many DJ entertainment companies who perform successfully at weddings or special events, just don’t know how to create a great Mitzvah Party—but CELEBRITY DJs have the experience and insight to create an event that keeps all age groups involved and there are no lulls!
We are experts in every Mitzvah area, helping you create personalized introductions, candle lighting ceremonies, and special dances. We know, inside and out, how to keep the “kids” entertained during the cocktail hour, perform enthusiastic, traditional Horas, conduct the most current games, activities, and dances that will keep the “kids” involved on the dance floor while adults are dining, and how and when, to get everybody up and partying with music that reflects your style and taste. We’re proud to say that though our music and performance is always engaging and exciting, whether we’re playing the newest Hit or the greatest Oldie, it’s never too loud. Who wants Mom-Mom or Uncle Stan holding their hands over their ears!

After performing at hundreds of the Delaware Valley’s hottest Weddings and Special Events—either as part of an ITM Band/DJ Combo, Host/MC, or as a featured performer—we have learned that it’s just not enough to show up and play your favorite requests. There are many other important elements: how to conduct introductions, coordinating the event with the caterer and photographer, reading the crowd and playing the right song at the right time, making certain that the music is always at the appropriate volume, especially while you are dining….
